I have started a Strat-O-Matic baseball team league of some of the worst teams of the past century in major league baseball. Teams in the league include the 2002 Tigers, 1988 Orioles, 1998 Marlins, 1970 White Sox and 1941 Phillies.
As I play the games, I will post the records of the teams as well as some stats of interest.
I am playing using the elementary version of the game (it's quicker playing it) and I'm not necessarily concerned if I "over use" players.
It will take some time for me to complete the season (I will play a whole 162-game schedule and keep stats on all the teams) as I am primarily the only one playing ther games.
So...enjoy. Check in every now and then and see how the teams are doing. My goal is to see who is the best of "a sorry lot". I hope to average 3 games per team per week. No guarantees, though. But I will try.
